First calculate the amount financed
Amount financed=725−50=675

The formula is
I=(2yc)/(m (n+1))
Solve for c to get
C=(I×m×(n+1))/2y
C=(0.14×675×(24+1))÷(2×12)=98.44

Total of payments=675+98.44=773.44

Monthly payment is
773.44÷24=32.23

Hope it helps!

Answer:

Total payment = $ 773.44

Monthly payment = $ 32.23

Amount of Interest = $ 98.44

Explanation:

Given,

The total price = $725.00,

Down payment =  $ 50,

So, the amount financed = 725 - 50 = $ 675,

Since, true interest formula,

I=\frac{2yc}{m(n+1)}

Where,

y = payments per year,

c = total interest paid,

m = amount financed,

n = total number of payment,

Here, y = 12, I = 14% = 0.14, m = $ 675, n = 24,

By substituting the values,

We get,

0.14=\frac{2\times 12\times c}{675(24+1)}

0.14 = \frac{24c}{675(25)}

\implies c = \frac{0.14\times 16875}{24}=\frac{2362.5}{24}\approx 98.44

Thus, amount of interest, c = $ 98.44,

Total of payments = m + c = 675 + 98.44 = $ 773.44,

Also,

\text{Monthly payment}=\frac{\text{Total of payments}}{\text{Number of payments}}

=\frac{773.44}{24}

= $ 32.23

Tomtit [17]

Answer:

$400 per unit

Explanation:

Variable cost $60 * 20 units = 1200

Fixed cost = $4000

Total current cost is $5,200

Total sales is 280 * 20 = $5,600

net income (Sales - Total cost) = $400

If CEO wants to increase net income by $1,100 the

Net income = Total sales - Variable cost -Fixed cost

Net income $1,500 = x - ($60 + $40) * 20 units - $4,000+ $500

Total sales = $1,500 + $2,000 + $4,500

Total sales = $8,000

Sales price per unit = $8,000 / 20 units

Sales price per unit = $400 / unit

Toby’s current marginal utility from consuming peanuts is 100 utils per ounce and his marginal utility from consuming cashews is
Ne4ueva [31]

Answer:

Toby is not maximizing his utility because MUp/Pp > MUc/Pc

Explanation:

given data

marginal utility consuming peanuts =  100 utils per ounce

marginal utility  consuming cashews = 200 utils per ounce

peanuts cost = 10 cents per ounce

cashews cost = 25 cents per ounce

solution

we know that Toby will have maximize utility when here

Marginal utility of peanut ÷  price of peanut  = Marginal utility of cashew  ÷ cash   ..........................1

MU (p) ÷ P (p) = MU (c) ÷ P (c)

put here value

\frac{100}{10} = \frac{200}{25}

but here

10 > 8

so we can say Toby is not maximizing his utility because MUp/Pp > MUc/Pc
