Which example best describes one way that humans contribute to the water cycle?

The correct answer is option D. Deforestation caused by logging.

Trees are a huge source of water that travels in the atmosphere by the process called plant transpiration. This helps in rainfalls that increases the water table.

When forests are cut down or deforestation occurs, this process decreases ultimately resulting in the decrease of water in the water table.
