The muscle is the<em><u> triceps brachii muscle .</u></em>

<h2>Further explanation </h2>

Triceps (Lower arm) muscle is a three-headed head arm, this is because the muscle is located in three different places. Triceps muscles are along the upper arm of humans. The third head consists of the head of a long, medial head and lateral head.

This triceps muscle brachii is the back of the arm muscle. This muscle is quite difficult to form with regular exercise, but you can have it by doing an intensive muscle training program at your favorite gym.

<em>The triceps muscle </em>brachii has the function of holding the load on the shoulder joint and the extension of the human elbow joint. Triceps and biceps have the same thing both are arm muscles, while the difference between the two muscles lies in the position/location of the muscles. Also, the triceps muscle formation process has a longer period than the biceps muscle. Why is that? Because triceps muscle training requires training techniques and intensive training in the gym.

Based on how it works, the muscles are divided into antagonistic and synergistic muscles, the antagonistic muscles will cause antagonistic motion (opposite direction of muscle motion), synergistic muscles cause synergistic movements (simultaneous movement of direction).

1. Antagonistic motion, an example of antagonistic motion, is the work of the bicep and triceps muscles in your upper arm and forearm. To lift the forearm, the bicep muscles contract and the triceps relax. To lower the forearm, the triceps muscles contract, and the bicep muscles relax.

2. Synergistic motion, this motion occurs if two muscles move in the same direction. An example is the hand gestures looking up and hands-on their faces. This motion occurs because of cooperation between the pronator quadratus muscle and the pronator teres muscle. Another example is rib motion due to cooperation between muscles between the ribs when we breathe.

"<span>triceps brachii muscle"

The </span> triceps brachii muscle is a muscle that has three heads, as its name indicates, and can be found in the posterior surface of the arm. This muscle function is to extend the forearm at the elbow joint being an antagonist of the biceps brachii and <span>brachialis muscles that flexes the forearm at the elbow joint.</span>

You are a population geneticist and you have recently visited a remote pacific island where you have discovered a race of giant
Evgen [1.6K]

Use the Hardy Weinburg equation of allelic frequency.

P2+2pq+q2=1

174/1378 = 0.126 = q2

Therefore q2 = 0.126; q = 0.355

If q = 0.355 and we understand that p + q = 1, then

P = 1 – 0.355 = 0.645

To find homozygous dominant population (p2);

(0.645)2 x 1378 = 0.416 x 1378 = 573

Heterozygous popualiton (2pq);

(2 x 0.645 x 0.355) x 1378 = 0.458 x 1378=  631

Recessive indviduals (q2) =  174

What combinations of alleles could result from a crossover between BD and bd chromosomes?
AysviL [449]

Answer:

Bb, Db , Bd and Dd

Explanation:

When a cross between two parents (having certain trait) is carried out , they share their alleles with each other to produce offspring with new traits. These offspring have gentically different allele combination as compared to their parents. A  genetic cross can be represented by a punnet square (as given below)

The cross between two parents with genotype "BD" and "bd" will result into the following offspring -

B D

b Bb Db

d Bd Dd
