It will be weaker. According to Hering’s opponent-process model, our eyes will experience a certain level of fatigue after observing a certain object for a prolonged period of time. This level of fatigue usually happen only temporarily and you could experience the same level of color distinguish if you let your eyes rest for a while.

Bentley Enterprises uses process costing to control costs in the manufacture of Dust Sensors for the mining industry. The follow
Kitty [74]

Answer:

Material Cost per equivalent unit =$4.87

Explanation:

<em>First in First  out (FIFO)methods separates completed units into fully worked and opening inventory</em>

Fully worked units: These represent units of inventory that were started in a current period and completed that same period. The fully worked units are calculated in order to separate the opening inventory from the the newly introduced when accounting for completed units under the FIFO.

For Bentley , fully worked units is

Fully worked = Newly introduced - closing work in progress

= 100,000- 24,000 =  76,000 .

Opening inventory = 16,000

Item                                          Units               Equivalent Units

Opening inventory                 16,000 × 40%=       9,600

Completed unit                      76,000 × 100% =     480,000

Closing inventory                   24,000 ×  90%   = <u> 21,600 </u>

Total equivalent units                                             107,200

Cost per equivalent unit = Total cost/ equivalent inits

=  54560 +468,000/ 107,200 = $4.87

Material Cost per equivalent unit =$4.87

Static budget is for 45,000 units,

Further with the information budget prepared with closest activity level, is the budget for 49,000 units as actual production is 50,000 units,

Therefore the actual comparison and analysis shall be based on this budget of 49,000 units as this is relatively most accurate and near by cost for each units produced.

Marko, Inc., is considering the purchase of ABC Co. Marko believes that ABC Co. can generate cash flows of $6,200, $11,200, and
Serggg [28]

Answer:

$27,965.4393

Explanation:

Given:

Cash flow for first year (C1) = $6,200

Cash flow for second year (C2) = 116,200

Cash flow for third year (C3) = $17,400

Rate of return = 10% = 10/100 = 0.1

Computation of total price :

Total Price = \frac{C1}{(1+r)^1} +\frac{C2}{(1+r)^2} +\frac{C3}{(1+r)^3}

Total\ price = \frac{6,200}{(1+0.1)^1} +\frac{11,200}{(1+0.1)^2} +\frac{17,400}{(1+0.1)^3}\\\\Total\ price = \frac{6,200}{(1.1)^1} +\frac{11,200}{(1.1)^2} +\frac{17,400}{(1.1)^3}\\\\Total\ price = \frac{6,200}{(1.1)} +\frac{11,200}{(1.21)} +\frac{17,400}{(1.331)}\\\\Total\ price = 5,636.36364 + 9256.19835 +13,072.8775\\\\Total\ price = 27,965.4393\\\\

Therefore, Marko Inc. will  pay $27,965.4393

While on vacation in las vegas jennifer, who is from utah, wins a progressive jackpot playing cards worth $15,875 at the casino
hodyreva [135]

Answer:

Depending on what game Jennifer played, she might have to pay taxes. If Jessica won the money playing [email protected]@ck or [email protected]@[email protected] she doesn't need to pay taxes.

Explanation:

The IRS requires casinos in Las Vegas to withhold 25% of total gambling winnings (or 30% if the gambler is from a foreign country). When a casino withholds taxes, they will provide you with IRS Form W-2G.

You must remember to keep Form W-2G so you can report it on your IRS Form 1040 tax return at the end of the year, to avoid being taxed twice.

But winnings from some table games are not taxed, e.g. [email protected]@ck, [email protected]@[email protected], [email protected], and roulette are not taxed.

What risks does southwest face? can it continue to thrive as a low-cost airline when tough economic times hit or other airlines
saul85 [17]
As of now Southwest is a stage in front of their rivals. They can ascribe this to the choices they made to limit their cost, their clients have seen the advantages of these choices. Since flights run assuming regardless of the possibility that they are half full, the organization goes out on a limb of gaining low income for that flight. Since the organization remains in an endless value war with its rivals they are compelled to keeps ticket costs low, this could bring about lost income and a plausibility of cutting overhead and creation cost. This could likewise impact the planning of workers. The dread of expanding oil costs still stays high on the organization's radar.
