Vladimir [108]

Answer:

A motor unit is a group of MOTOR NEURON and the MUSCLE FIBERS connected to it.

Explanation:

Neuron is the structural and functional unit of nervous system.

Motor unit consists of a motor neuron and the skeletal muscles innervated by the terminals of the neuron.

Several associated motor units called motor pool coordinates together the contractions of a single muscle.

That is, the activation of a motor unit leads to the contraction of all the muscle fibers attached to it.

A cell biologist carefully measured the quantity of DNA in grasshopper cells growing in cell culture. Cells examined during the
xz_007 [3.2K]

Answer:

100 units

Explanation:

The interphase of the cell cycle includes three stages: G1, S, and G2. During the S phase of interphase, the cell enters the process of DNA replication. DNA replication duplicates the existing DNA molecule and doubles the DNA content of the cell. The cell accommodates the newly formed DNA in two sister chromatids of chromosomes. If a cell of grasshopper contained 200 units of DNA in the G2 phase, the cell would have 100 units of DNA in the G1 phase. The S phase would have doubled the DNA content and the G2 phase had 200 units.

DNA encodes the information necessary to produce the proteins needed by your body. While this is true for humans, is it the case
Mumz [18]
Yes, it's true for all living organisms.

All animals/plants are made up of cells, and DNA contains the info/data for these cells to develop properly.

If you think about evolution more broadly, all living organisms evolved from single-cell organisms, so it would make sense that DNA is an important part of all of their growth/development.
