The key is communication. So having a get-together with my kids. Start by asking about their worries. Secondly listen. Pay attention to what ever moods, anger, difficulties they are feeling and also what it is from me that may cause them to feel uncomfortable and how can I make it improved. I would also tell them how I feel. At the end as a family symbol out an answer and come to a settlement. We must reveal to our faults and work to them.

What is a current piece of social change that you think people in society are resistant to? why do you think this resistance is
aleksklad [387]
In our current world two societal changes are happening very quickly:

1. The mainstream of LGBTQ community and their marriage rights

2. The development of Multiple Genders or the concept of Gender Fluidity

A large part of the American population is still resistant to the above concepts and even though gay marriages are legal and there is a huge liberal support for these movements, things are different in the American heartland.

Both these concepts completely change the model of a society as we know if it. It seeks to present gender and gender roles as a 'social construct' and tries to move people away from 'traditional marriages' in what they say is modern human society.

Not only tradition, both concepts are also alien to the Christian faith which categorically defines marriage as between a man and a women. The Christian faith also defines Gay relationships as immoral and sinful.

Hence, in the coming decades we will continue to see huge resistance from conservatives against these movements but it is possible that in the half century, most of America is supporting these changes.
