Amines are derivatives of
Ammonia (NH₃) in which atleast one hydrogen atom is replaced by an alkyl group. Amines are further classifies as;
Primary Amines: In primary amines the nitrogen atom is attached to two hydrogen atoms and one alkyl group.
Secondary Amines: In secondary amines the nitrogen atom is attached to two alkyl groups and one hydrogen atom.
Tertiary Amines: In tertiary amines the nitrogen atom is attached to three alkyl groups, hence it has no hydrogen atom.
Below are three isomers of tertiary amines with molecular formula
C₅H₁₃N.
Dilution is when you decrease the concentration of a solution by adding a solvent. As a result, if you want to dilute salt water, just add water. ... Add more solute until it quits dissolving. That point at which a solute quits dissolving is the point at which it's saturated.
The solution for this problem would be:
The mass of P4O10 is computed by: 0.800 mol x 284 g/mol = 227g t = 15.0 s ( 1 min / 60 s) = 0.25 min
So solving for the rate will be mass over t = m/t = 227/0.25 = 908 g/min would be the answer for this problem.
Use the formula, Q= mcT
Q= heat
m= mass= 1.900Kg= 1.900 x 10^3 grams
c= specific heat= 3.21
T= 4.542 K
Q= (1.900 x10^3g)(3.21)(4.542K)= 14.6 Joules.
