Answer:
Garrison talks about how he tried to set the slaves free and break the chain apart that was holding them captive. He gave the slaves courage that one day slavery will be over. One main criticism of Garrison is that he was trying to change the mind of the slave owners to release them from being captive. This was an important role in American history because he accomplished the end of slavery.

William Lloyd Garrison was a famous abolitionist of the United States. In this stanza, the author discusses the things he has heard about this prominent historical figure.

The author says that many people believe William Lloyd Garrison was acting selfishly, and that he was only looking for personal fame. He also states that he has heard the abolitionist was rash and vain, which is most likely a criticism of Garrison's extremism. This is the main criticism of the poem, and suggests that Garrison was more extreme than most abolitionists of the time. Finally, the author says that Garrison is also known for making the African men of the country resolute, determined and brave in their pursuit of freedom.

Read the introduction to an argumentative essay.
lorasvet [3.4K]

Answer: By adding closing sentence

Explanation:

The introduction will be more effective if the writer would add a closing sentence. The main idea of closing sentences is to establish and restates the most important thing about the argumentative essay, to show what are the key and the main idea of that essay.

This introduction needs strength and stable information because these pieces of information are incomplete and they are left hanging. Because it is the argumentative essay it would be good to be clear about what the author is arguing and what is he trying to describe.
