<span>The War Powers Resolution might limit foreign wars by the fact that the President cannot send troops to battle without Congressional approval by declaring war or granting an exception. The Legislative veto aspect of the resolution jeopardizes the legality of the resolution because Legislative vetoes violate the seperation of powers. The President has control over the military as commander-in-chief, but cannot declare war without the support of Congress. While Congress does hold the power to declare war, the President decides whether to cooperate with our allies.</span>

How successful was the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor? Did they accomplish the objectives they set out to accomplish? Explain w
sesenic [268]
The Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor for the main reason of tension in the Pacific. The Americans weren't necessarily in the conflict at this point, but were sitting in the Pacific watching the Japanese, if the Japanese were to grow in power, they can't have the Americans on their tail. The attack counterattacked the Japanese if you really look at it. Most people would relate the Pearl Harbor attacks as "poking the sleeping bear with a stick", and that's true. We turned the fighting back to the Japanese in the months after the attack. And four long years later, we dropped the "Little Boy" atomic bomb on island town of Hiroshima -- And the second bomb called "Fat Man" on Nagasaki 3 days later. The Japanese surrendered less than a month after the bombings. So, the attacks of Pearl Harbor really hurt the Japanese more than it hurt the Americans.

What two groups made up the crowd that waited outside the federal arsenal?
valkas [14]

The raid on Harper's Ferry was an intent by John Brown, who was an abolitionist, to initiate a slave revolt in 1859 by taking control on the federal arsenal located in Harper's Ferry, Virginia.

The two groups that were outside the arsenal were:

  1. <em>John Brown's "group of 22"</em>. This group of men was supposed to be supported abolitionists Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglass. However, none of them showed up in the scene, as Tubman fell ill and Douglass was doubtful of a victory.
  2. <em>A group of US Marines</em> led by Colonel Robert E. Lee.

The attempt was unsuccessful, resulting in the defeat of Brown's group by the US Marines.

What is encryption? Explain how encryption was used during both the Boer Wars and WWII and its effectiveness.
Andrew [12]
Encryption is the use of code words or other things such as a different language to transmit data that is able to be understood by only those that use it. An example was during World War II, Americans in the Pacific theater fighting against the Japanese brought Navajo speaking Native Americans to transmit data to other American forces. They did this because the Navajo language was completely unknown to the Japanese and weren't able to decipher the transmissions that they intercept.

alina1380 [7]

Answer:

Due to more focus on the car.

Explanation:

Yes, this greater efficiency have affected the costs for the consumer because more people work on the same model in order to prepare in less time. If a person wants a car on urgent basis so the company spend more focus on the vehicle and the company takes more money for the car. So we can say that if the time dropped from 12 hours to 93 minutes then the cost of the car will be increases for the consumer.
