A recent study was conducted to investigate the duration of time required to complete a certain manual dexterity task. the repor

ted mean was 10.2 seconds with a standard deviation of 16.0 seconds. suppose the reported values are the true mean and standard deviation for the population of subjects in the study. if a random sample of 144 subjects is selected from the population, what is the approximate probability that the mean of the sample will be more than 11.0 seconds?

It can be considered that the distribution of the sample is normal, based on the central limit theorem, where the sigma of the sample is:σ / root (n).
 The mean of the sample is:
 μm = μ
 So:
 P (X> 11) = P (Z> Zo).
 Where Z follows a standard normal distribution and
 Zo = (μm-μ) / (σ / root (n))
 Zo = (11-10.2) / (16 / root (144)).
 Zo = 0.6
 From the table for the standard normal distribution we have to:
 P (Z> 0.6) = 0.2743

Let f (x)= x + 18 − 3 x − 15 Choose the correct interval form for the DOMAIN of f and then enter the values for the endpoint(s)
natulia [17]

Answer:

The domain of f(x) corresponds to the set of real numbers.

D f(x) ∈ ∀X; D f(x) ∈ R

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x)=X+18-3X-15

f(x)=-2X+3 (right line with negative slope)

This function exists for all values of X, so the domain corresponds to the set of real numbers.

D f(x) ∈ ∀X; D f(x) ∈ R

£240 is divided between Sara, Gordon & Malachy so that Sara gets twice as much as Gordon, and Gordon gets three times as muc
Law Incorporation [45]
Gordon gets £72

Explanation:
Sarah gets twice as much as Gordon and Gordon gets three times as much as Malachy, which means that Malachy gets 1 part of the money, Gordon gets 3 parts because he has three times as much as Malachy, and Sarah gets 6 because she gets twice as much as Gordon. As a ratio from Sarah to Gordon to Malachy its 6:3:1. All of that adds up to £240. If u add 6+3+1 it gives you 10. 240/10 is £24. And Gordon has 3 parts so you do 3x24 which gives you £72

Correlation coefficient (r) = [nΣxy - (Σx)(Σy)] / [sqrt(nΣx^2 - (Σx)^2)sqrt(nΣy^2 - (Σy)^2)]
Σx = 21 => (Σx)^2 = 21^2 = 441
Σy = 671 => (Σy)^2 = 671^2 = 450,241
Σx^2 = 1 + 4 + 9 + 16 + 25 + 36 = 91
Σy^2 = 98^2 + 101^2 + 109^2 + 117^2 + 119^2 + 127^2 = 75,665
Σxy = 1(98) + 2(101) + 3(109) + 4(117) + 5(119) + 6(127) = 2,452
r = [6(2,452) - 21(671)] / [sqrt(6(91) - 441)sqrt(6(75,665) - 450,241)] = 621/sqrt(105)sqrt(3749) = 0.99
