Sample Response: The increase in algae could be related to Sarah’s farm due to her use of fertilizer. Fertilizers help produce strong, healthy crops, but they can also wash into lakes and rivers. When they do, they provide a large food supply for the algae living there, which can cause the algae population to increase dramatically. Samples from the neighborhood lake show high levels of phosphorus and nitrogen, the key ingredients of most fertilizers, and a large increase in the algae population. It is therefore likely that the lake contains some of the fertilizer from Sarah’s farm.

A plant’s ability to photosynthesize depends on a variety of factors, including the amount of available sunlight. Plants also go into a protective mode after an environmental crisis, which helps protect the plants’ chloroplasts from damage. During this period, photosynthesis is low. The technique used in this research improved the plants’ ability to recover after a crisis, boosting plant growth and crop yield. This research could ultimately lead to growing crops successfully in different types of environments and in a shorter period of time.

What changes did Henry II make to the English legal system and how did these changes affect feudalism?
Keith_Richards [23]
He strengthened royal courts by having the jury formally accuse a person of having committed a serious crime. He introduced the courts that were governed by the King and that would put subjects on trial, which weakened the feudal lords who had that power earlier.

To survive and keep ones sanity, people look for designs, make drawers in their mind and try to make simpler their daily lives. To question things continually charges a lot of resources like time, intellect and energy. People incline to question things and processes when the condition occurs for the first time. But when a routine sets in, questions won’t be asked anymore. That saves processes and life running. Routine is a good development, but like all in life, there is a dark/ hazardous side to it. For instance what if we behave unfair/ unprincipled and it became a repetitive activity.

saw5 [17]

At first Baby Madeline is interested in the mobile her mother hangs from her crib. Then she becomes bored; she fidgets and looks around. Madeline is experiencing habituation, the predictable loss of interest that develops once a stimulus becomes familiar.

Explanation:

When same thing is repeated again and again for many times, the response or the attractiveness towards that thing decreases. This is called as habituation. The abilities that are associated with the cognition of small kids or infants can be determined with habituation.

The example states that Madeline baby is very interested in the mobile that is with her mom. Then this is bored for the kid and it starts looking for something around the place. the response of the kid towards the mobile phone is gradually decreased and hence this is an example of Habituation.
