The correct answer is - the number of hours he works at each job.
If we have the number of hours he works for each job separately, then we will be able to take out a percentage of the earnings from both of the jobs separately. We will than get the sum of the percentages if both of them, and have the real amount of George's weekly savings.

  • George's total salary in one week is $ 550
  • George works 80 hours per week from 2 part-time jobs
  • And George saves 18% of $ 550 which is $ 99
  • George could have spent 5 days per week working
  • George works 16 hours a day for 2 job

<h2>Further explanation </h2>

The first salary is $ 6.25 / hour x 40 hours / week = $ 250

The second salary is $ 7.50 / hour x 40 hours / week = $ 300

One week is equal to 24 hours x 7 days = 168 hours

George works 80 hours a week, he has 168-80 = 88 hours of free time

George saves 18% from $ 550, 550x18% = $ 99

Work is a relationship that involves two parties between the company and workers/employees. The workers will get a salary as compensation from the company, and the amount depends on the type of profession that is done.

Side jobs can be interpreted as work that is other than the main work. This work is done after the main work is finished.

Part-time Workers are part-time staff, ie workers who work for only part of the normal working time or working day, for example, someone who is appointed as expert staff or another position in a company that only works for three days a week.

A company operating under an EOQ policy enjoys rising annual demand for their products for three consecutive years. During this
Oduvanchick [21]

Answer:

Their order quantity will rise but the time between orders will fall.

Explanation:

Let's analyse the EOQ formula:

Q_{opt} = \sqrt{\frac{2DS}{H}}

If Demand increases

The dividend increase, so the quotient increase.

EOQ will rise.

<u>Only options b and c are correct on that statment.</u>

Now let's check the time between order:

\frac{EOQ}{Demand} \times 365

If we analyze the increase in demand:

√(2xΔDxS/H)/ ΔD

everything else is keep constant so we have:

√(CxΔD)/ ΔDx

If we use L'Hopital we can conclude this function limit is zero.

Anyway a more easy way to do it will be calculate with a demand of 1000

and then with a demand of 50,000 to notice how much the time between order decrease.

√(1000)   /  1000 =  0.031622776

√(51000)/ 51000 = 0.004428074

<u>so we have EOQ increase and days between order decrease.</u>

Now only option B is correct !

Total contribution margin = $3,000, standard models sold at break even=800, deluxe models sold at break even=400, superior models sold at break even=100

<u>Explanation:</u>

1.Using sales mix stated in the fact from Figure to form a package what is the total contribution margin?

total contribution margin  =($150 multiply 8) plus ($200 multiply 4) plus ($1,000 multiply 1)  = $3,000

2.Refer to Figure, What is the number of standard models sold at break even.

break even units  =Fixed cost divide contribution margin per package

= $300,000 divide $3000  =100 package  standard models sold at break even=100 package multiply 8 = 800

2.Refer to Figure, What is the number of deluxe models sold at break even.

break even units

=Fixed cost divide contribution margin per package  = $300,000 divide $3000

=100 package  deluxe models sold at break even = 100 package multiply 4
