The correct option is c, to grow new plants.

People in the Cahuilla tribe depended mostly on desert plants for their food.  Acorns were popular as the oak trees could not grow in desert areas. The common food for these tribes included the fruit of mesquite tree. During the spring season mesquite blossomed which was eaten by boiling. During summers the pods which were green was used as a drink by grinding. After the pods dried they were eaten from the tree directly or made mesquite cakes which could be stored for long time. In all the conditions and seasons, not all the beans were harvested but a portion was left in the plant so as to let them grow into new  plants and trees.

The Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans provide guidelines specifically for older adults. "Which of the following is not
Tems11 [23]

b. All adults should engage in moderate-intensity aerobic physical activity for at least 150 minutes per week, vigorous-intensity aerobic activity for 75 minutes per week, or an equivalent combination of the two.

Explanation:

The Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans guidelines for older adults states that:

Older adults are more susceptible to cardiac and nervous disorders along with poor musculoskeletal strength.

To maintain good cardiac and nervous health; musculoskeletal fitness and strength; reduce depression, cognitive decline; older adults are directed to engage in moderate-intensity/vigorous or combination of both aerobic physical activities and muscle-strengthening exercises.

They should include physical activities combining one or more of; occupational (work-based) activities; transportation (walking, cycling); household chores (cleaning); leisure time activities (gardening, dancing); sports activities (hiking, biking, swimming, games, running) and planned daily routine exercise activities; all of them as part of their daily routines performed as an individual, family or community-based activities .

Older adults with mobility issues should perform exercises to improve their balance and prevent falls .

Which fields would most likely make use of spectroscopy techniques? Check all that apply.
kow [346]

The right answer is 2 and 3.

The applications of spectroscopy are very diverse; they are in many areas: fundamental physics, astrophysics, nuclear physics, plasma physics, solid state physics, materials science, metrology, microelectronics, new light sources, laser isotope separation, and so on. The R.M.N. provided a very powerful medical imaging technique. Other analysis techniques are similar to spectrometry, in the sense that a spectrum is measured as a function of energy or frequency. Acoustic spectroscopy concerns pressure vibrations for which the notions of frequency and wavelength are similar, although the phenomenon is of a nature quite different from electromagnetic waves. Here again, the frequency range extends far beyond the audible frequency range, from infrasound to ultrasound. Mass spectrometry produces spectra as a function of the mass-to-electric charge ratio of atomic or molecular ions.

In the first 2.5 hours after a radical neck dissection, 40 ml of medium-red, bloody fluid is obtained from the client's drainage
cluponka [151]
The nurse should assess the patient vital sign and notify the healthcare provider. For 2.5 hour after neck dissection, production of 40ml by the drainage is a bit excessive. There might be a bleeding in the site of operation that becomes the source of the drainage. Change dressing will not do anything. Applying pressure can be done if the site of bleeding is known.

In classical conditioning the ns becomes a ________ after it reliably signals the impending occurrence of the ________.
nignag [31]
The answer is <span>c.CS; US.

In classical conditioning, a new behaviour is learned via association. The stage before conditioning involves: 1. unconditioned stimulus (US) which produces an unconditioned response, and 2. neutral stimulus (NS) which has no effect on a person and produce a response only when paired with </span>unconditioned stimulus. During conditioning, neutral stimulus (NS) and unconditioned stimulus (US) pair and neutral stimulus becomes a conditioned stimulus (CS). In other words, <span>the ns becomes a <u>CS</u> after it reliably signals the impending occurrence of the <u>US</u>. </span>
