"An Indian Father's Plea" is a short story written by Robert Lake. The story is written in the form of a letter that an Indian Father writes to a teacher at the school which his son attends to. He uses imagery, which is a literary used to create images in the readers' mind, in order to describe how his son, who is from a different cultural background as his classmates, has learned things from his day to day activities at his village.
