We have to calculate the difference of the given polynomials, we follows as:

(-2x^{3}y^{2}+4x^{2}y^{3}-3xy^{4})-(6x^{4}y-5x^{2}y^{3}-y^{5})

After opening the brackets, the signs of all the terms changes as there is negative sign before the bracket.

=(-2x^{3}y^{2}+4x^{2}y^{3}-3xy^{4})-6x^{4}y+5x^{2}y^{3}+y^{5})

Combining all the like terms, we get as

=(-2x^{3}y^{2})+(4x^{2}y^{3}+5x^{2}y^{3})-3xy^{4}-6x^{4}y+y^{5}

=-2x^{3}y^{2}+9x^{2}y^{3}-3xy^{4}-6x^{4}y+y^{5}

Option A is the correct answer.

If mc022-1.j pg and mc022-2.j pg, what is the value of (f – g)(144)? –84 –60 0 48
Mashutka [201]

Answer:

0

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = √(x) + 12

g(x) = 2√(x)

(f-g)(x) = √(x) + 12 - 2√(x)

(f-g)(x) = 12 - √(x)

if x = 144

(f-g)(144) = 12 - √(144) = 12 - 12 = 0

To go on the class trip, chang needs at least $125. he has saved $45, and he makes $7 an hour at his job. what is the minimum nu
Murljashka [212]
The total amount that Chang will received from his wages is the product of his hourly wage times the number of hours he has worked (n). His total savings should not be less than $125. The equation that best describes the situation is,
                                    45 + 7n ≥ 125
Solving for n in the inequality gives an answer of n≥11.42 hours. Thus, he needs to work for at least 12 hours.

The weight, y, in pounds, of kittens was tracked for the first 8 weeks after birth where t represents the number of weeks after
marshall27 [118]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The mentioned relationship for the weight, in pounds, of the kitten with respect to time, in weeks, is

\hat y =1.7 +1.48t

Weight of the kitten after 10 weeks

\hat y =1.7 +1.48\times 10

\hat y =16.5 pounds

This modeled equation is based on the observation of the early age of a kitten where the kitten is in its growth period, but in the early stage the growth rate in the weight of the kitten was the same but the growth of any living beings continues till the adult stage. So, after some time, in real life situation, this weekly change in weight will become zero, So, this model is not suitable to measure the weight of the kitten over the larger time period.

Here, t= 10 weeks is nearby the observed time period, so the linearly modeled equation can be used to predict the weight.

Hence, the weight of the kitten after 10 weeks is 16.5 pounds.

Find the arc length of AB. Round your answer to the nearest hundredth.
Fantom [35]

The arc length of AB is 8 m (app.)

Explanation:

Given that the radius of the circle is 8 m.

The central angle is 60°

We need to determine the arc length of AB

The arc length of AB can be determined using the formula,

arc \ length=\frac{central \ angle}{360^{\circ}} \times circumference

Substituting central angle = 60° and circumference = 2πr in the above formula, we get,

arc \ length=\frac{60^{\circ}}{360^{\circ}} \times 2 \pi(8)

Simplifying the terms, we get,

arc \ length=\frac{8 \pi }{3}

Dividing, we get,

arc \ length=8.37758041

arc \ length=8(app.)

Hence, the arc length is approximately equal to 8.

Therefore, the arc length of AB is 8 m
