Answer:

The fossils that are more than 540 million years old are hard to get on earth due to their low preservation potentials because of the following conditions-

1) Lack of hard parts in the organisms does not lead to the formation of fossils. These organisms were soft-bodied.

2) Due to the occurrence of different mass extinction in geological time, the fossils might have destroyed.

3) Due to the constant plate tectonic activities that take place on earth, these fossils were damaged.

4) The fossils existing in a particular area also gets affected if there occurs intrusion of magma, that burns the fossils. The more ancient fossils are difficult to obtain because of the various geological processes that undergo on earth. So, the fossils of recent ages are mostly found on the beds of sedimentary rocks.

5) Some fossils are also not found because they are buried deep under the earth's surface.

Aloiza [94]

Answer:

The correct answer is - It has to act together with the nervous system mainly with other systems that assist in rock climbing.

Explanation:

Rock climbing is a physical activity or sport that could practice indoor or outdoor with mountains. It is a sport that requires physical and mental strength as it requires muscle strength, coordination, or balance, agility, endurance, and mental control over body and mind.

Muscular systems involve pulling the weight of an individual towards and leg muscles to hold whereas the nervous system controls or maintain the actions of muscles and also helps in balance the body of the climber. This neuromuscular set helps in maintains the muscle's tonicity in order to execute the action of climbing.

Other than these two main body systems there are cardiovascular system, circulatory system and respiratory system also helps in providing the conditions like increase oxygen input, high heartbeat, and more.

In a flowering plant, tall (T) is dominant to short (t), and blue flowers (B) is dominant to white flowers (b). A tall plant wit
Bumek [7]

Answer:

25%

Explanation:

Following a cross between Ttbb and ttBb, the resulting offspring would be:

TtbB , TtbB , Ttbb , Ttbb , ttbB , ttbB , ttbb , ttbb , TtbB , TtbB , Ttbb , Ttbb , ttbB , ttbB , ttbb , ttbb

To have a clearer idea, see the attached image.

Of the 16 possible combinations from this dihybrid cross, there will be:

4 tall plants with blue flowers

4 tall plants with white flowers

4 short plants with blue flowers

4 short plants with white flowers

There are 4 possible genotypic recombinations that would yield short plants with white flowers out of a possible 16, so the chance that the offspring will be short with white flowers would be 4/16 which is 1/4 or 25%

Hope this helps

In the pedigree that is shown, which represents Irene's allele combination?
Greeley [361]

The red-green color blindness is a recessive X-linked trait. The females are not affected unless both the X chromosomes have the affected allele. Mostly, the females are the carriers, and the males are affected as they have only one X chromosome. In the given pedigree, the father of Irene have the normal allele, while her mother is a carrier. However, Irene is neither a carrier nor affected. This means that she carries normal alleles on both X chromosomes. Hence, her allele combination is X^{H} X^{H} .

Indicate weather the label identifies an adaptive or innate form of defense
suter [353]

Innate: keratinized epithelium

stratified squamous epithelium hypodermal areolar connective tissue antigen presenting cells major histocompatibility complexes complement (antibody -dependent pathway )

Innate or non-specific response is the first defense against invaders. Components of this response include physical (e.g. skin . mucosa) and chemical barriers against pathogens and cells such as Natural Killer cells, macrophages, neutrophils, dendritic cells, mast cells, basophils, eosinophils. Innate response reacts immediately.

Adaptive: immunoglobulin plasma cells agglutinin

helper t cells memory t cells cytotoxic t cells cd4+cells

t lymphocytes

Adaptive immune response or specific response is specific to the pathogen presented and mediated by lymphocytes, B and T cells. Adaptive immune response creates immunological memory after the first, initial l response to a specific pathogen which leads to enhanced response.
