This is a difficult question because the paragraph says that the scientists found the crater was dated back to the time the dinosaurs became extinct according to the fossil record, so that would make it true, but what it does not say is where they got the fossil record from or how the fossil record is correct, so that would make it false. So I would put it in as false.

Answer:

True

Explanation:

The crater and the fossil record are examples of researched data that support Courtney's explanation. This data can be called evidence.

Evidence is the term used to describe something that can be confirmed as true through concrete data that has been evaluated and that can be justified based on scientific and / or social facts that support an information that is true.

In the male reproductive system, the pituitary hormone _____ stimulates Leydig cells to secrete testosterone, and the pituitary
Katena32 [7]

Answer:

Luteinizing hormone (LH) stimulates Leydig cells to secrete testosterone

Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) stimulates Sertoli cells to secrete protein and other molecules required for spermatogenesis

Explanation:

Under the influence of gonadotropin-releasing hormone, the anterior pituitary releases luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). In males, LH stimulates interstitial cells of testes (Leydig cell) to secrete the hormone testosterone. FSH acts indirectly to stimulate spermatogenesis by causing the release of androgen-binding protein (ABP) from the Sertoli cells. The function of ABP is to maintain the higher concentrations of testosterone to stimulate the final steps of spermatogenesis in the seminiferous tubules.
