I think I must first get the marginal cost of the product before i bought if it is worth it to its value, Then i would compute for the marginal benefit to know what would i gain in this product. Lastly I would compare both the marginal cost and marginal percentage if the cost is lower than the benefit then the product is worth it to buy.

Marginal benefit is a microeconomic concept that explains how much the consumer adds to the satisfaction of each unit consumed by a given product. For economic theory, the marginal benefit is decreasing, that is, with each additional unit the utility of the product decreases. The first smoothie has a lot of value, the second a little less, the third less so, so far I won't want smoothies anymore.This makes sense because the consumer is gradually satisfied when consuming more than one product.

Marginal Cost is the cost of buying one unit of one more product. In this case, the marginal cost is the price of an extra smoothie. Since the marginal benefit is decreasing, the consumer will do a cost benefit analysis. While the marginal benefit of consuming an extra smoothie is greater than the marginal cost of the extra smoothie, the consumer tends to buy more. When marginal cost becomes greater than marginal benefit, the consumer tends to stop buying.

Sergio039 [100]

All of the following represent cash outflows except E; Depreciation.

Further Explanation:

Cash outflows to a firm/business is how much cash for the business is available after taxes and capital are paid for. Interest payments, dividends and the purchase of equipment for the plant is considered into the cash flows.

Depreciation will not be part of the cash flow. This is considered to be a non-cash expense to the business/firm. This is an ongoing charge to the fixed assets of the business. This actually reduces the cash flow by reducing the monies paid for income taxes.

Nagel Equipment has a beta of 0.88 and an expected dividend growth rate of 4.00% per year. The T-bill rate is 4.00%, and the T-b
Luda [366]

Answer:

Option (e) is correct.

Explanation:

Given that,

Beta = 0.88

Expected dividend growth rate = 4.00% per year

T-bond rate = 5.25% (The treasury bonds are always the risk free rate)

Average annual future return on the market = 14.75%

Required rate of return:

= Risk free rate + Beta × (Market rate - Risk free rate)

= 5.25 + 0.88 × (14.75 - 5.25)

= 5.25 + 0.88 × 9.5

= 5.25 + 8.36

= 13.61%

Ward Doering Auto Sales is considering offering a special service contract that will cover the total cost of any service work re
kodGreya [7K]

Answer:

a. The probability that any one customers service costs will exceed the contract price of $200 is 0.0228

b. Warda expected profit per service contract is $50

Explanation:

a. In order to calculate  the probability that any one customers service costs will exceed the contract price of $200 we would have to calculate first the z value as follows:

z=x-μ/σ

z=$200-$150/$25

z=2

Therefore, probability that any one customers service costs will exceed the contract price of $200 is p(x>$200)=p(z>2)

=1-p(z≤2)

=1-0.9772

=0.0228

The probability that any one customers service costs will exceed the contract price of $200 is 0.0228

b. To calculate Warda expected profit per service contract we would have to make the following calculation:

Warda expected profit per service contract=service charge per contract-expected cost

Warda expected profit per service contract=$200-$150

Warda expected profit per service contract=$50

Warda expected profit per service contract is $50
