To make the novel more realistic, Stoker included diary entries, letters n other materials in his novels such as Dracula. the blood transfusion mentioned also was based on scientific beliefs at the time. even when the scientific elements were not very scientific, like vampires, he tied that to readers' imagination to make them realistic.

The main way in which Bram Stoker uses science to make his novel seem contemporary and realistic is that he relates past scientific events to current ones, which ties into the reader's imagination. He also Uses science by allowing the readers to feel first hand what he went through. Also attitudes and technologies the novel presents that represent the new modern times.

Write about a time when your best friend surprised you. What was the surprise? What was your reaction? Did you enjoy it? Do you
Dominik [7]

Answer:

The time when my best friend surprised me was some days after my birthday.

He brought a huge cake and completely shocked me, and that was early in the morning.

I was elated, excited, shocked, all forms of happiness and surprise.

Yes, I did really enjoyed it.

I definitely think it is good to sometimes give surprises to others. We may not know what is happening to them, but surprises make people forget their sadness and bring happiness, even if temporary.

Explanation:

On my birthday, my best friend surprised me with a birthday cake. He brought it and came to my home without any notice early in the morning.

The surprise was a success, for I genuinely loved not only the cake but also the gesture. I was utterly shocked that he would even do that, considering it was already some days after my real birthday. But the surprise was a welcome surprise.

I think it is indeed good to give people surprises, for it makes the other person so happy. It was, at least for me. I never imagined that will happen to me, but it did and I really enjoyed it. And we never know what’s going on with people. So, surprises may bring temporary happiness, but it provides relief from the problems for some time, and that’s still better.

solniwko [45]

Answer: c. assets

Explanation:

Assets are things that people own that either makes them money or is valuable enough that it can be sold for money.

Jerry's farmland makes money and can be sold for money as well which makes it an asset. The vehicles and the industrial land are also valuable and the jewellery store makes money so these are all assets.

Assets determine the economic net worth of a person such that when they say Elon Musk is worth $185 billion, they mean his net assets are valued at that amount.
