A cell reproduces to create two identical daughter cells. To reproduce, the cell begins by duplicating its genetic material. The

n, it elongates and the two copies of DNA are pulled apart to opposite ends of the cell. Finally, the exterior of the cell helps in splitting the cell into two equal and complete halves, each containing a copy of the DNA. Which two organelles are most involved in this process?

Answer:

nucleus and cell membrane

Explanation:

The nucleus in a cell contains the genetic material. During reproduction, a cell duplicates the DNA within the nucleus. Once the cell has elongated and the two copies of DNA have been pulled apart, the cell membrane moves inward to split the cell into two halves. Therefore, the nucleus and cell membrane are the two organelles that are most involved in the reproductive process.

19. Which graph best shows how enzyme activity changes as the temperature is adjusted above and below the enzyme’s optimum tempe
aniked [119]
The graph would be the 4th picture, a bell-shaped graph.

The optimum temperature should have the highest rate of enzyme activity. When the temperature is increased or decreased, the enzyme activity would be decreased. The graph that follows both conditions should have a bell shape graph.

Ion channels are a versatile group of membrane proteins that can be opened by various stimuli such as ligand binding. Once open,
Mashutka [201]

!!•••••••☆☆ Hey mate ☆☆•••••••!!

Ions are charged atoms or molecules. The plasma membrane is analogous to a capacitor, storing and separating charge. The voltage across the membrane varies from cell to cell, but a typical value is that the inside of the cell is -65 mV (millivolts) relative to the outside.

This may suggest that positive ions will flow into the cell when ion channels open, but, as mentioned in the question, the movement of ions is determined by both concentration and voltage.

This so called "electrochemical potential" can be calculated using the Nernst equation.

Imagine that the climate in your region became extremely arid, and freshwater became a scarce and precious resource. Wasteful us
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]

Answer:

Answer = explanation.

Explanation:

I would try adapting without any problems, since if we suppose that this climate change happened recently, the answer is probably human activity. And, even if I wasn't part of it, there is nothing I can do but tolerate it.

But now, the important part. I would reduce the amount of weekly showers to 1-3 showers a week. I would also buy water only for my consumption, making sure nothing would be wasted. Given that water would be x100 more expensive, I would also buy water-rich fruits and vegetables from the market (and of course, these would have to come from somewhere else, since I would not support illegal watering) such as cucumbers, watermelons, melons, nectarines, etc.

Hope it helped,
