USLANTCOM had been active from 1947
to 1993 as a main U.S. Navy command, focused upon the wartime defence of the
Atlantic sea lanes against Soviet Union attack. After the end of the Cold War,
a 1993 reorganization gave the Command a new acronym, USACOM, and make United
States Army Forces Command and Air Combat Command under its authority. USJFCOM
was established in 1999 when the old United States Atlantic Command was change
its name and given a new mission: leading the transformation of the U.S.
military through experimentation and education.
1. Two daughter cells will be produced. The cell division process known as mitosis (single cell cycle) always produces two identical daughter cells, irrespective of the number of chromosomes.
2. 72 chromosomes. As stated above, the daughter cells are identical to the parent cells and have the same amount of chromosomes.
1. Cellular respiration is a metabolic pathway that occurs inside the cell. During cellular respiration, glucose molecule is broken down in the presence of oxygen.
2. During cellular respiration, ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) molecule is also produced that acts as energy currency and directly powers cell work.
3. Amylase is an enzyme that helps in digestion. It catalyzes the hydrolysis of starch into simple sugars. If amylase is present in normal amount it will break down starch into disaccharides. If the amount of disaccharidase amount is less than usual then less disaccharides will be broken down into monosaccharides. Thus the production of monosaccharides will decrease.
4. In the reactions shown above, the end product is largely dependent on the last enzyme. If Enzyme3 is in less amount than usual then there will be greatest reduction in the production of G and H. This is because the formation of product in any reaction is dependent on the substrate concentration and enzyme concentration.
The correct answers are options:
It insulates the complex in the winter.
It provides passive cooling in the summer.
The Fusionpolis is a building present in the Singapore. The building is covered by the spine vegetation. The spine vegetation is well known for the insulation against the heat, this makes them best for maintaining the temperature in the building. These spines provide the insulation in the winters, when the outside atmosphere is too cold, and in summers, the transpiration of the spines help in cooling down the temperature of the building.
The answer is triceps muscles. These muscles run along the back
of the upper arm while the biceps run along the front. The triceps muscles
allow the arm to extend at the joint of the elbow, therefore an antagonist of the biceps that bend the forearm.
