welp

ok so first what you do is you find out which sides have the smallest and largest surface areas

largest: 50x5 (250in)

smallest: 5x3 (15in)

what you would do if you wanted the smallest surface is you would glue the 50x5 surfaces together like this: |_| if the 5in sides are facing to the side

smallest like this: ||| if the 5in sides are facing to the side

CALCULATE:

50*5+53*5+53*5+3*5+3*5+50*5+50*5+47*5+2*5*10*3*3

simplifies to:

489*5

2445

LARGEST SURFACE AREA

CALCULATE:

9*5+9*5+50*5+50*5+9*5*10+9*5*10

simplifies to:

289*5

1445

SMALLEST SURFACE AREA

Grace [21]

Answer:

The sample mean is$ 52

The claimed population mean is $58

Step-by-step explanation:

American households spent an average of about $52 in 2007 on Halloween merchandise such as costumes, decorations and candy. This tells you that the sample mean is$ 52.

1500 households were surveyed in 2008 and found an average spending of $58 0n Halloween tell us that the claim's population mean is $58

The equation y = 14x represents the number of pages Printer A can print over time, where y is the number of pages and x is time
Crank
Printer A
y = 14x

Printer B
Time(min)       |  3  |  5  |  8  |  12  |
Pages printed | 48 | 80 | 128 | 192 |

Printer A prints 14(1) = 14 pages per minute.
Printer B prints 48/3 = 16 pages per minute.

The printer that prints at a faster rate is printer B.

The time it takes to transmit a file always depends on the file size. Suppose you transmitted 30 files, with the average size of
Ostrovityanka [42]

Answer:

Y = 0.009042 + 0.0002457X

Y = 0.1073 seconds

Step-by-step explanation:

In the given problem we have two variables: the transmission time and average size of file.

Y = transmission time

X = average file size

The linear regression model is given by

Y = a + bX

The slope b is given by

b = correlation coefficient*(SDy/SDx)

Where SDy is the standard deviation of average transmittance time and SDx is the standard deviation of average file size.

b = 0.86(0.01/35)

b = 0.0002457

The y-intercept a is given by

a = y - bx

a =  0.04 - (0.0002457)126

a = 0.04 - 0.030958

a = 0.009042

Therefore, the linear regression model is

Y = 0.009042 + 0.0002457X

Predict the time it will take to transmit a 400 Kbyte file.

Substitute X = 400 in the regression model

Y = 0.009042 + 0.0002457(400)

Y = 0.009042 + 0.09828

Y = 0.1073 seconds

Therefore, the predicted time to transmit a 400 Kbyte file is 0.1073 seconds.

Bud's cheeseburger and fries contained 1310 milligrams and 350 milligrams of sodium, respectively. Together they contained 66.4%
Serhud [2]

Answer:

The recommended daily intake of sodium for a 2000 calorie diet is 2500 mg.

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to calculate the daily intake of sodium we first need to calculate the mass of sodium present in both snacks, this is given by their sum.

\text{total sodium} = 1310 + 350 = 1660 \text{ mg}

We can now apply a rule of three for which the total sodium from the snacks is related to 66.4% in the same proportion as "x" mg, which is the value we want to know, is related to 100%. So we have:

\frac{1660}{x} \frac{mg}{mg} = \frac{66.4\%}{100\%}

66.4*x = 1660*100\\x = \frac{166000}{66.4} = 2500 \text{ mg}

The recommended daily intake of sodium for a 2000 calorie diet is 2500 mg.
