Ans.

Evolution of land plants can be defined as evolution of complex terrestrial plants, such as bryophytes, ferns, gymnosperms and angiosperms from earliest, multicellular aquatic green algae.

The early land plants were seedless plants, which produced spores for reproduction. These plants include bryophytes and pteridophytes. After some time, vascular, seeded plants were evolved into land and categorized as gymnosperms. These plants were non-flowering plants, with naked seeds.

Then, vascular, seeded plants or angiosperms were evolved, having flowers and seeds enclosed in ovary. These plants were classified as monocots and dicots on the basis of cotyledons present in seeds.

Thus, label  'A' represents 'bryophytes',  'B' represents 'gymnosperms', 'C' represents 'gymnosperms' and 'D' represents 'dicots.'

Scientists are researching a large family, many of whose members have Jackson-Weiss Syndrome, a disease that causes bone problem
Goryan [66]

The right answer is C.

A genetic disease is called autosomal dominant transmission when :

* The morbid allele ("sick" version, mutated of the gene in question) is on a non-sexual chromosome (neither X nor Y).

* The presence of a single morbid allele is sufficient for the disease to express itself.

The morbid allele is transmitted by either the father or the mother (or both, if they have the same inherited autosomal dominant genetic disease). Anyone with one of their affected parents is affected.

Jackson-Weiss syndrome is indeed an autosomal dominant disease characterized by a malformation of the feet, craniosynostosis of varying degrees, facial abnormalities, enlargement of the big toes and normal hands.

LeeAnn wants to organize her data from researching the effect of hours of sunlight on plant growth to see if there is a trend in
saul85 [17]

The best way for LeeAnn to display her data for analysis so she can make predictions about the amount of light needed for maximum growth would be in a line graph.

A line graph is a chart that displays quantitative values over a period of time. A line graph is commonly used to display trends in a dataset and to evaluate how the data has changed over time. The line graph is made up of a horizontal x-axis and a vertical y-axis and each axis is labeled with a data type. In a line graph, the data points are plotted and are later joined by a line. The direction of the lines across the graph produces patterns that show the relationship between all the different variables in a dataset.
