Answer:

Conflict.

Explanation:

Settling in literature is when you define the place, the time and context of the story. Resolution is the final plot of a story where it comes to an end of the conflict. Irony is the use of words to express the opposite mean of it, such as mocking a situation or a character.  While conflict is a very important literary element for a narrative; it can be defined by “the struggle between opposing forces”. Conflicts can be divided in internal (the character with himself) or external (the character with nature, society, or other man).  This contrast between the man’s overconfidence and the dog’s eagerness about how to handle cold is an example of conflict between man and nature.

Answer:

The correct answer is "irony". This irnoy has to do with the theme of the helplessness of humanity before nature: it seems ironic that the human mind, the brightest expression of evolution, capable of measuring and comprehending the universe, is incoherent enough to underestimate nature whereas the dog, a simple creature, often a victim of human wimps, is "intelligent" enough not to do so.

I'm not sure I entirely understand your question but this is what I think:

Protectively = adverb (ends with -ly and describes verbs)

Protective = adjective (describes nouns)

Protect = verb (is a doing word)

Protection = noun (the name of something?)

Hope this helps :)

Dvinal [7]

Answer:

Violet and Peony’s father is the minor character in the story. He is static and flat. Mr. Lindsey is defined by his common sense personality. His personality stays the same throughout the story. Even after seeing the unique appearance of the snow-image, he doesn’t believe that it’s a miracle. When he tries to apply logic to the situation by warming the snow-image in the house, he destroys it.

Analyze Phillis Wheatley's tone and diction in her letter and poem to General George Washington.
dimaraw [331]
The central idea was freedom. In her story, Philis convey the struggle that American people has to acchieve it and how she supported George's Washington effort to fight and obtain it. She simply talks about him being a symbol of a hero and that she's sure he was going to win the war. The tone of the letter seems to be earnest and heartwarming
