How does Wiesel begin his speech?

English
1 answer:
Yakvenalex [24]2 years ago

Wiesel declines to enable himself to overlook the Holocaust in light of the fact that, as one of the survivors, he did accept part of detachment. It's his obligation to witness, since he is a "delegate of the dead among the living,". Wiesel's work provoked one commentator to review Isaac Bashevis Singer's meaning of the Jews as "people who can't let themselves rest and let no one else rest,"

During the conflict resolution process, which of the followings statements would be appropriate when defining the problem?
ahrayia [7]

Answer:

A). “You are not communicating well to me.”

Explanation:

Conflicts are demonstrated as the clash or disagreement with the opposing forces. Conflict resolution process, as the title suggests intends to resolve the conflicts by reaching a common conclusion.

As per the question, the statement that would be pertinent to define the problem during the conflict resolution process is displayed through option A as it reveals that the person is unable to understand what is being communicated which is the key reason for the conflict. Therefore, it would assist in clarifying the disparity and help look for the obstacles that are preventing to reach the common goal and lead to a common resolution. Thus, option A is the correct answer. The other options merely state an opinion or perception.

With which statement would Susan B. Anthony most likely agree?
Blababa [14]

Susan B. Anthony was arrested and tied in 1872 for voting in the presidential election. After which she delivered the speech on "Woman's Rights to the Suffrage" in 1873. In her speech, she justifies that she had not done any crime by voting as it is her citizen right. Also, in her speech, she represents the rights of women in voting. Women in 1800 had few rights that they could practice. Through her tone of persuasiveness and serious, she states "Every discrimination against women in the constitutions and laws of the several States is today null and void, precisely as in every one against Negroes." Its because of her that today women have freedom.

“Are women persons? Being persons, then, women are citizens, and no State has a right to make any new law, or to enforce any old law, which shall abridge their privileges or immunities.", The question was repeated throughout her speech. Such use of diction and language asserted her point of view and reflected upon her higher education and that she is no different from men. Also, emphasizing the point why does not women have the right to vote as men?

"Nor shall any State deprive any person of life liberty, or property without due process of law, or deny any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." Another citizen right used by her, which asserted her point as a fact and not the opinion of her own. Relating to such facts without emotional attachments made the citizen believe in her and made her speech effective to reach the small number of groups.

Therefore, statement with which Susan B. Anthony most likely agree with is D. By voting in an election, a woman has done nothing illegal or wrong.

alexgriva [62]
King argued in his letter that “…one has a moral responsibility to disobey unjust laws.” and that “An unjust law is no law at all.” Knowing that King felt this way, I was surprised that he would refer to Socrates, a man who believed quite the opposite, when arguing for his cause. Like King, Socrates was imprisoned largely for standing up for beliefs that others around him disagreed with. However, though he had numerous opportunities to do so, Socrates refused to break any laws, even though he knew that his imprisonment and condemnation were unjust. To him, breaking any of the laws of Athens would cause harm to all laws, and not even the injustice of the laws could justify harming them. Socrates believed that if individuals could obey or disobey the laws as they pleased, the laws would no longer be effective, and the government would fall into a state of chaos. He concluded that the only just way for him to leave prison and avoid death would be to convince the legal system of its own injustice.
