I believe the part of the cell theory you can use to refute his claim is that cells are the smallest unit of life and more importantly that all cells come from other living cells.

Answer:

Francesco Redi  theory

Explanation:

He proved that the spontaneous generation does not exit. If the maggots appear in the rotten garbage is because there were another living thing that flies near the garbage and left their eggs. Because the living things come from another living thing, not appear suddenly.

Andreas93 [3]

Answer: 23

Explanation:

After the completion of meiosis in humans, a diploid germ cell has produced cells with half the original chromosome number, generating 23 haploid nuclei.

Meiosis is cell division that reduces chromosome number by half. Hence, a diploid germ cell with 46 chromosomes (23 pairs) is halved to 23 nuclei at the end of meiosis, the 23 nuclei will be carried by the sex gamete
