The bone is being formed and reabsorbed by a groups of cells called as the osteoblast and osteoclast respectively .

In diseases like <em>osteoporosis</em> which is a hormonal disease caused due to decrease in estrogen level, has an effect on the osteoclast cells .

It cause the apoptosis of osteoclast and decrease remodeling of bone causing the bone density to decrease and bone becomes weak .
