Answer:

Total expense= $104,022.6

Explanation:

Giving the following information:

The company expects to spend $6000 one year from now, $9000 three years from now, and $10,000 each year in years 6 through 10.

The interest rate is 12%.

We need to use the following formula:

FV= PV*(1+i)^n

FV= 6000*(1.12)^9= 16,638.47

FV= 9000*(1.12)^7= 19,896.13

Total= $36,534.6

For the last three we need to use the following formula:

FV= {A*[(1+i)^n-1]}/i

A= annual deposit

FV= {10000*[(1.12^3)-1]}/0.12= 67,488

Total expense= 67,488 + 36,534.6= $104,022.6

Select the examples of layoffs. Check all that apply. India loses her job as an Urban Planner because the city ran out of fundin
eduard

Answer:

Fidel loses his job as an Eligibility Interviewer because Legislators decided to cut his department, even though Fidel was very good at his job.

Explanation:

A layoff refers to the termination of an employment contract due to a shortage of work. Employers initiate layoffs. They may be a temporary suspension of employment or permanent termination.

Layoffs are not a result of an employee's fault or incompetency. They may be caused by declining revenue, some operations' shutdown,  automation of processes, and outsourcing of some services.

Fidel's case was a layoff. There was no work available for him after his department was shutdown.

A property was purchased two years ago for $300,000; the investor just sold the property for $379,000. What was the percentage o
ikadub [295]

Answer:

percentage of profit is 26.3%

Explanation:

given data

purchase property cost = $300,000

time = 2 year ago

sold  property = $379,000

solution

we get here percentage of profit in relation to the cost

first we get here percentage value increase  that is

percentage value increase = \frac{379000}{300000}

percentage value increase = 1.263

percentage value increase = 126.3%

so here 1 in 1.263 represent you the original cost

so profit % = 1 - 1.263

profit % = 26.3%

elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]

Answer:

A. Come to more practices

C. Try to convince the coach to give them more money

D. Quit the team

Explanation:

A pretty cool thing Dwight and Guillermo would want to do first is to stay calm and approach their coal for a raise since they commit equal time to the task as others. This is one of the best way to negotiate for a due raise.

Dwight and Guillermo might also feel cheated and be angry about their low pay which may eventually force them to want to quit the team. Often times, this is situation of knowing your worth and duly sticking to the perks of it.

They might also approach this problem by coming to more practices to impress their coach. This can further augment their visibility in the team, an action which they might duly be rewarded for.
