Answer:

c) the presence of other cockroaches enhanced performance, but only in a simple task

Explanation:

Zajonc conducted the famous experiment with cockroaches. He designed a couple of different mazes to test whether having an audience of other cockroaches would affect how quickly the roaches ran through the mazes. One was a simple maze, and the other was a more complicated maze.

The experimenters found that cockroaches completed the easy maze more quickly when they had an audience and a pair, but they completed the complicated maze more slowly when they had a pair and an audience. Similar results in humans and this led to his theory of social facilitation. The factor was known as social inhibition.

Explain the role a pharaoh played in a theocracy.
pochemuha
Theocracy is the opposite of the separation of Church and Government: it means that the rule in the country is connected to religion.

Pharaoh was the ruler of the country - equivalent to a king, but also he was a priest (the highest priest in the country) and often a God. This means that he took all the administrative and political decisions, but also the religious decisions in the country.

This also meant that the rule of the Pharaoh could not be challenged as it has a divide origin.

In this context, children need to realize the roles of the value that influence whether social groups perceive a certain action as 'right' or 'wrong'.
To fully do this, the teacher has to include all children in analyzing this matter so they can achieve a similar moral standard that would be imposed within their social group.</span>

Assume that the premise(s) of the following argument are true. Apply the other three tests of the worthiness of an argument in t
il63 [147K]

Answer:

That argument is an example of a falacy masquerading as a valid inference.

Explanation:

Fallacy means error, deception or falsehood. Usually a fallacy is a misconception that is conveyed as true, misleading others. On the other hand, when an argument conveying a true idea is used to derive a false conclusion from false assumptions, the inference is valid.

Based on this, we can conclude that the argument quoted in the above question is a fallacy disguised as valid inference, because the speaker of the argument provides the information as a true statement, but it is wrong to draw conclusions about how Anthony will react after his accident, based on how other people reacted.
