Answer:

Disrespectful and ignorant

Explanation:

It is against the decorum of a meeting to use phone during the meeting unless it is an emergency. Since Kiersten's phone was buzzing again and again during the meeting and the fact that she left the meeting room each time to respond to the messages and phone calls. It is plain disrespectful because she did not care about other peoples time who were also present in the meeting.

Further, she also went ahead and ignored the reactions of the people which clearly stated she was so self absorbed to notice how displeased everyone else in the meeting room was.

What clues does Walt Whitman provide in the opening stanza of the poem that suggest the captain did not die a natural death? Use
VARVARA [1.3K]

Answer and Explanation:

In his poem "O Captain! My Captain!", Whitman provides clues about the unnatural death of the captain when he mentions the blood dropping on the deck of the ship. People who die naturally - of natural causes - do not usually bleed. Bleeding is the result of being hurt, injured, be it in an accident or due to violence.

O the bleeding drops of red,

Where on the deck my Captain lies,

                                  Fallen cold and dead.

As we know, the fallen captain is none other than Abraham Lincoln, who had been shot and killed. The whole poem is a metaphor for his death as well as the victory of the Union in the Civil War. Whitman is lamenting Lincoln being gone, having been murdered before he could see and celebrate victory with the country.

A firm establishing a manufacturing plant in a foreign country due to the cheap labor costs in that country is an example of the location advantage that the firm enjoys. By establishing a manufacturing plant in a location with cheap labor, the firm saves budgetary allocations for labor, it is fully enjoying the advantage of the location. Several manufacturing firms adopt this method by establishing manufacturing plants in South American or African countries where labor is relatively cheap compared to Europe and United States.
