The area of rectangular field is 0.14 square kilometer

<h3><u>Solution:</u></h3>

Given that rectangular field is 400 meters long and 350 meter wide

To find: area of the field in square kilometers

The area of rectangle can be found out by multiplying length and width of rectangle

<em><u>The area of rectangle is given as:</u></em>

\text { Area of rectangle }=\text { length } \times \text { width }

Given that length = 400 meter and width = 350 meter

<em><u>Substituting the values in above formula we get,</u></em>

\text { Area of rectangle }=400 \times 350=140000

Thus the area of rectangle is 140000 square meters

<em><u>Converting the area of rectangle to square kilometers:</u></em>

To convert meter to kilometer, divide the value by 1000

1 \text { meter }=\frac{1}{1000} \text { kilometer }

Therefore,

\begin{array}{l}{1 \text { meter }^{2}=\frac{1}{1000 \times 1000} \text { kilometer }^{2}} \\\\ {1 m^{2}=\frac{1}{1000000} k m^{2}}\end{array}

140000 \mathrm{m}^{2}=\frac{140000}{1000000} \mathrm{km}^{2}=\frac{14}{100} \mathrm{km}^{2}=0.14 \mathrm{km}^{2}

Thus the area of rectangular field is 0.14 square kilometer

Evaluate the double integral ∬Ry2x2+y2dA, where R is the region that lies between the circles x2+y2=16 and x2+y2=121, by changin
Nadya [2.5K]

Answer:

See answer and graph below

Step-by-step explanation:

∬Ry2x2+y2dA

=∫Ry.2x.2+y.2dA

=A(2y+4Ryx)+c

=∫Ry.2x.2+y.2dA

Integral of a constant ∫pdx=px

=(2x+2.2Ryx)A

=A(2y+4Ryx)

=A(2y+4Ryx)+c

The graph of y=A(2y+4Ryx)+c assuming A=1 and c=2

I need to find both of the solutions to the equation 100+(n-2)^ = 149
rodikova [14]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

hello :

100+(n-2)² = 149

100-100+(n-2)² = 149-100

(n-2)² = 49

(n-2)² - 49  =0    but 49=7²

(n-2)² - 7²  =0   use identity : a²-b²=(a-b)(a+b)

(n-2-7)(n-2+7)=0

(n-9)(n+5)=0

n-9=0 or n+5=0

n=9 or n=-5

The graph below shows the value of Edna's profits f(t), in dollars, after t months:
umka21 [38]
Since we know that the graph of our quadratic function has x-intercepts at (6,0) and (18,0), x=6 and x=18 are the zeroes of our quadratic. To find our quadratic we are going to factor each zero backwards and multiply them:
x=6
x-6=0
x=18
x-18=0

(x-6)(x-18)=x^{2}-6x-18x+108
=x^{2}-24x+108

Now that we have our quadratic function, we are going to use the average formula: m= \frac{f(9)-f(3)}{9-3}
where
f(9) is the function evaluated at  the <span>9th month
</span>f(3) is the function evaluated at the 3rd month

m= \frac{f(9)-f(3)}{9-3}
m= \frac{[9^{2}-24(9)+108]-[3^{2}-24(3)+108]}{9-3}
m= \frac{-27-45}{6}
m= \frac{-72}{6}
m=-12

We can conclude that the closest approximate average rate of change for Edna's profits from the 3rd month to the 9th month is: <span>B. −11.63 dollars per month.</span>
