Answer:

The effective growth rate daily is 0.1455%

Explanation:

The effective growth rate daily can be computed using the below daily growth rate formula:

effective daily rate=(1+annual rate)^1/365-1

annual growth rate as given in the question is 70%

effective daily growth rate=(1+0.70)^(1/365)-1

effective daily growth rate =1.001454833 -1

effective daily growth rate=0.001455

effective daily growth rate=0.145483327  %

effective daily growth rate =0.1455%  approximately

The fact that the business is growing at this rate on daily basis is good indicator of business success which must be leveraged upon in the future in order to take the business even to greater heights.

However, the validity of the annual rate of 70% is also very important, whatever parameters used in arriving at 70% needs to be rechecked in order to be on the safe side.

Suppose that coffee growers sell 200 million pounds of coffee beans at $2 per pound in 2015 and 240 million pounds for $3 per po
VARVARA [1.3K]

Answer: C) the demand for coffee beans has increased

Explanation:

The law of supply states that: "all things being equal" the higher the price the higher the quantity supplied and the lower the price, the lower the quantity supplied.

Coffee growers sold just 200 million pounds of coffee when the price was $2 per pound but they increased their supply of coffee to 240 million pounds when the price per pound is $3.

This is an evidence to show that suppliers supply more products when price increase in order for them to make more profits.

Gala2k [10]

Answer:

B. $7.58

Explanation:

earnings per share = (net income - preferred dividends) / weighted average of shares outstanding

shares outstanding:

January 1: 100,000 x 12/12 = 100,000

October 1: -20,000 x 3/12 = -5,000

weighted average = 95,000

EPS = $720,000 / 95,000 = $7.5789 =$7.58

Stock options are not included in the basic EPS calculation.
