Answer:

The amount of gross margin is 28 if Hoover uses the weighted average cost method

Explanation:

Based on this information, the amount of gross margin is 28 if Hoover uses the weighted average cost method.

When using the weighted average method, you divide the cost of goods available for sale by the number of units available for sale, which yields the weighted-average cost per unit.

From the scenario, the two identical inventory items purchased are:

First cost ........$33.00.

Second cost ..$35.00.

Weighted Cost = (33 x 1) + (35 x 1)] / 2 = $34

Gross profit = $62.00 (sales price) - $34 (cost) = $28

Answer:

If Hoover Company used the LIFO method:

gross margin = sales price - purchase price of second item = $62 - $35 = $27

Inventory value = $33

If Hoover Company used the FIFO method:

gross margin = sales price - purchase price of first item = $62 - $33 = $29

inventory value = $35

If Hoover Company used the weighted average method:

gross margin = sales price - average price = $62 - [($33 + $35) / 2] = $62 - $34 = $28

inventory value = $34

Rudik [331]

Freedom of ownership is part of the government and the public sector business environment.

Explanation:

Freedom of ownership or a sharing vision offers a number of opportunities in the business environment. It allows the government to control the costs, generate the economies of scale and bargain costs down internally.

The freedom of ownership permits access to complex, specialized skills that can not be sourced locally. So this allows the government sector or the public sector environment to run the business successfully and to run it efficiently.

Answer:

Since elasticity is 6.4, a positive figure,it is normal good and the fact that it is greater than one means it is elastic, hence option A is correct

Explanation:

The formula for income elasticity of demand is given as:

/(new quantity-old quantity)//(old price+new price)/2)/(New income-Old income)/(old income+new income)/2)

New income=$33,000

Old income=$31,900

New quantity =5 times

Old quantity=3 times

Hence=(5-3)/(3+5)/2)/(33500-31900)/(31900+33500)/2)

Elasticity=6.45

How do scarce resources influence you personally? What impact does this have on your financial management?
tankabanditka [31]
Scarce resources encourage me to spend time thinking about how I use the limited amount of money and materials that have so that I may use them in a matter that best guarantees that I will get the most satisfaction out of it. Since resources also include time, they also define how much I time I spend doing which activities, and steer me to put in a certain degree of work.

Since there is a limited supply of resources, the great wheel that facilitates the cycle that these such resources use, known as money, must also be limited. How I manage my finances (money and resources). Knowing this, I am encouraged to invest such resources into more efficient outlets to attain the most powerful results out of my few resources.
