daser333 [38]

Answer:

According to Shelby Ostergaard, religious wars and the Protestant Reformation were key elements in leading Europe into the nation-state system.

Explanation:

The conflict ended when the Peace of Westphalia (1648) was signed, establishing Roman Catholicism, Lutheranism, and Calvinism as different authentic Christian beliefs, and reorganizing Europe from a tribal system into the nation-state system.

I think the narrator grew to love the French culture than of his original roots. In the poem “Book of Songs”, Heine had stated that he did not like the French culture at all. He was torn between loving his German roots or follows the French culture that he was accustomed to. It was only when he was older that he was able to appreciate the French culture during the Prussian Regime.
