Answer:

Sharon is comparing two banks - First state bank and Common bank

The table below is comparing both the banks.

We can see that the first state bank has a monthly fee of $4 while there is no such charge in common bank. The second thing is non sufficient funds  which is less in common bank. Thirdly, the 2nd copy charges of the common bank is cheaper(though this is not needed by Sharon). The ATM usage charges of common bank is also cheaper.

Comparing everything we can say that option A is the answer.

Answer:

(a)

Step-by-step explanation:

Two banks: First state bank and common bank are compared in the table based on the prices of both the banks.

After observing, we come to the conclusion that holding a first state bank will charge a monthly fee of $4 whereas in common bank there is no monthly fee.

Secondly, non sufficient bonds are cheaper in common bank as compared to first state bank.

Also, 2nd back statement is charged as $7 and $ 3 for each transaction under first state bank and common bank respectively.

Hence common bank is cheaper. Therefore,(a) common bank will save Sharon more money.

quester [9]

Answer:

2:1 that is 2 inches in real life is equal to 1 inch in the drawing.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following in the question:

Longest side of the pool = 10 inches

Longest side of the pool in drawing = 5 inches

Scale:

We find the ratio of the real length of pool and the measurement of the length of the pool in the drawing.

\text{Scale} = \dfrac{10\text{ inches}}{5\text{ inches}} = 2:1

Thus, we can say Paco's new drawing follows a scale of 2:1 that is 2 inches in real life is equal to 1 inch in the drawing.

A triangular-shaped deck has one side that is 4 feet longer than the shortest side and a third side that is 4 feet shorter than
Inessa05 [86]

Answer:

The shortest side is 20 feet, the second side is 24 feet and the third side is 36 feet.

Step-by-step explanation:

Assuming that the shortest side of this triangle has a length of "x" feet, then one side is "x + 4" feet and the third is "2*x - 4" feet. Since the perimeter of the deck is 80 feet, then the sum of the length of these sides should be equal to that.

x + x + 4 + 2*x - 4 = 80\\4*x = 80\\x = \frac{80}{4} = 20 \text{ feet}\\

The shortest side is 20 feet, the second side is 24 feet and the third side is 36 feet.

Which equation is equivalent to 2^4x = 8^x-3?
Julli [10]

Answer:

\large\boxed{2^{4x}=2^{3x-9}}

Step-by-step explanation:

8=2^3\to 8^{x-3}=(2^3)^{x-3}\qquad\text{use}\ (a^n)^m=a^{nm}\\\\=2^{3(x-3)}\qquad\text{use the distributive property}\ a(b+c)=ab+ac\\\\=2^{(3)(x)+(3)(-3)}=2^{3x-9}

If you want a solution of this equation:

2^{4x}=8^{x-3}\\\\2^{4x}=2^{3x-9}\iff4x=x-3\qquad\text{subtract}\ x\ \text{from both sides}\\\\3x=-3\qquad\text{divide both sides by 3}\\\\x=-1
