Answer:

3:16

3 individuals of the 16 offspring will exhibit black coat and long ears.

Explanation:

Both parents are heterozygous for both traits so they exhibit the following genotype: WwEe, normally known as a Dihybrid organism.

In this case black is recessive and long ears is dominant. So, we are looking for offspring with black (w) and long ears (E).

Let's create the Punnett Square and see what the offspring will look like and the chances of the offspring of showing black coat and long ears.

          WE We wE we

WE WWEE WWEe WwEE WwEe

We WWEe WWee WwEe Wwee OFFSPRING

wE WwEE WwEe wwEE wwEe

we WwEe Wwee wwEe wwee

In this case, the underlined genotypes are the offspring that exhibit black coat (ww) and long ears (EE or Ee). Therefore the ratio will be: 3:16 (3 individuals from 16 individuals in total).

Which possessive pronoun best completes the following sentence?
lara [203]

Answer:

Peter and Paulette raked the leaves in their front yard.

Explanation:

Possessive pronouns show possession or ownership in a sentence. There are two types: Absolute possessive pronouns, namely, mine, yours, his, hers, its, ours, yours, and theirs. And possessive adjectives, namely, my, your, his, her, its, our, your, and their; unlike, absolute possessive pronouns, possessive adjectives are always placed next to a noun.

So, with this definition, we can easily discard option 2 "them." because it is not a possessive pronoun.

Now, in the sentence, the possessive pronoun that should be in the blank is one that refers to both Peter and Paulette, that is to say, to the third-person plural. "Her" and "his" refers to the third-person singular, and "their" refers to the third-person singular,l, so the correct answer is definitely "their."

LINDNER (taking off his glasses): Well—I don't suppose that you feel . . .
sergiy2304 [10]

Well, you notice how Lindner is very hesitant in his speech? That shows that he’s pretty reluctant to have to deal with the conflict of moving this family into that neighborhood. He’s at his wits end and he doesn’t understand why people are reacting the way they do or how to satisfy everyone in this situation. He’s not a man who deals well with conflict, but he’s also definitely not apologizing for feeling the way he feels. Rather, he’s frustrated that they’re not seeing it from his side, y’see? He’s not angry, though, as he tries to stay cordial even while explaining how he sees it. It’s almost more like he’s whining, a little?? lol

Anyways, I think the answer is desperate and abrupt. Hope this helped, and if not, I’m really sorry!!
