Answer:

All of the above.

Explanation:

The short narrative story "The Circuit" by Francisco Jimenez tells the story of how a Spanish working family had to move from one place to another in search of work. Narrated from the point of view of the younger son Panchito, the whole story revolves around how he viewed and feels about his family's life.

Throughout the story, the narrator used the first person narrative voice, constantly using "I", "We" etc which all suggests that the whole story is only from is own perspective. His thoughts and approaches, his feelings and ideas and opinions take over the narration, from his own point of view.

in line 64,the speaker refers to “beaten silver paths.” To what does this image refer, and how is it connected to the silver bla
Anestetic [448]

in Joy Harjo's "New Orleans", the line "beaten silver paths" refers to the streets of such city. She remembers of certain Spanish conqueror, De Soto, who came to this lands searching for, and constantly states that he wouldn't find it here. Maybe is a mock to that fact.

The "silver blades and crosses" refers to the sword and crucifix of the conqueror, who drawn in the Mississippi river which dreamt of those items. Maybe this means that the streets of New Orleans were made of the things and dreams of the many conquerors who came to that land in search for gold and failed.

what is one reason that thomas paine brings up the opposing argument that the colonial colonies have done well under British con
Mnenie [13.5K]
Paine’s argument is that even though America enjoyed prosperity under British rule, it does not mean America will forever be dependent under their rule. He added that Britain protects the colonies for its own economic gain. They need not go war with other countries that are at war with Britain. He also said that it should be the British who should handle reconciliations with France not the colonies. He further states that if they reconcile with the British, then the situation will repeat itself all over again.

How does the author characterize Theseus in the story? Cite evidence from the text in your response
PolarNik [594]

The author portrays Theseus as a flawed human being. In early adventures, Theseus proved that he was a 'hero' but it wasn't until he slew the minotaur he became a legend, the living embodiment of braveness. However the author also made sure to mention that he deserted Princess Ariadne and even killed her father without much thought in order to allow the reader to understand that this so called hero although brave is far from perfect.

Hope this helps!
