Linda will have to pay $125.40 for wall-to-wall carpet for her bedroom.

First you had to find the two missing sides. To find the one across the 3m wall, you just needed to do
3 - 0.6 = 2.4 m

To find the one across the 3.6 wall, you do the same thing
3.6 - 1.2 = 2.4

Now that you know all the sides, you times all the sides by 9.50 individually.

Then you add them together to get your answer as $125.40

dimulka [17.4K]

Answer:

P(X 0.9619

Step-by-step explanation:

From the given information;

the probability of getting returned p = 0.1

If eight rings are sold today, what is the probability that fewer than three will be returned;

According to binomial distribution

Binomial distribution is the probability of success or failure of an outcome of an experiment under observation which is usually repeated several trials. Binomial experiments are random experiment with fixed number of repeated experiment. If we cannot predict before head, the outcome of an experiment , the experiment is called a random experiment.

So , using binomial distribution to determine the probability that fewer than three will be returned;

i.e

P(X \sum_{x=0}^{2}\binom{8}{x}(0.1)^{x}(1-0.1)^{8-x}

P(X 0.9619

An epidemiologic survey of roller-skating injuries in Metroville, a city with a population of 100,000 (during the midpoint of th
Ahat [919]

Answer: c. \dfrac{90}{1800}\times100\%

Step-by-step explanation:

As per given , we have

Total number of residents injured from roller-skating =1,800

Total number of deaths from roller-skating = 90

Formula for Mortality rate : Mortaility\ rate= \dfrac{Deaths\ due \ to\ injury}{Tota\ injuries}

Then, the proportional mortality ratio (%) due to roller-skating was

=\dfrac{90}{1800}\times100\%

= 5%

Hence, the correct answer is c.\dfrac{90}{1800}\times100\%
