Observational Learning

Explanation:

Observational learning can defined as a way a person learn another person behaviour or attitude by observing them either through watching and retaining the information leading to replication or imitation of the behaviour.

Observational learning can also means to put into practice what we have observe from another person Example a child can begin to carryout the act or behaviour that his /her parent have been doing simply by observing them which means the child has modelled his parent behaviour through observation.

saveliy_v [14]

Answer:

The correct answer is (a)

Explanation:

Selective attention is a psychological term that refers to the ability to focus on one task and filter out all other irrelevant sensory information.

Clay displays a greater level of selective attention, because he's easily able to tune out the sound of the crowd and focus only on the game. On the other hand, Bruce has a lower level of selective attention, because he can't discriminate what he should be focusing his attention on, and it's often distracted by his opponents and the crowd.

Selective attention can be increased and developed, usually by attaining greater skill on whatever task one is focusing on.

In at least 150 words, evaluate the pros and cons of the Internet and social media for those serving in government.
scoray [572]

Pros – through the use of social media, a politician is more accessible to his or her constituents. If someone has a question or a concern, he or she should be able to directly address the politician. And a politician will be able to then respond as well. It improves the contact be those who are governed and the ones who govern. The internet allows for immediate contact in multiply directions.

Cons – messages can be numerous and/or one person may be unable to respond to a significant number of his or her constituents. There is no real accountability for people who use fake accounts and then attack and/or spam the politicians. As it allows for people to express themselves with immediacy, some people may frequently react emotionally, instead of thoughtfully.

Social media allows and encourages genuine discourse and discussion to occur, but as with everything it depends on the responsibility of the users to use it effectively and with honest purposes.

In Stanley Milgram’s obedience research, the person playing the part of the “learner” was an accomplice, or ________, of the exp
vladimir2022 [97]

Answer:

a) confederate

Explanation:

Milgram's experiment was carried out to test how far people's obedience goes. For this, several men of different ages and educational levels were brought together to obey a person who was considered an authority at that time. These men did not know that they were being tested in the experiment, but they thought that an "apprentice" who would take shocks to different levels of electricity was being tested.

The experiment consisted of men giving shocks with increasing levels of electricity in the apprentice, whenever the authority ordered. The intensity of the shocks would increase to the point that it is impossible not to kill the apprentice.

What the men did not know is that the apprentice was an actor and confederate of the experimenter and that he was pretending to receive shocks.

Suppose you wanted to determine whether you had adequately sampled the species richness of a given community. Which result would
spayn [35]

Answer:

A species accumulation curve that had leveled off

Explanation:

In sampling, access if the current sampling had adequately assessed the species diversity, species richness is plotted as a function of the sampling effort, that is, each data point on a species accumulation curve represents the total number of individuals and sampling effort up to that point. Species accumulation curves can help us determine when most or all of the species in a community have been observed. A species accumulation curve that had leveled off indicates that you had adequately sampled the species richness of a given community.
