Answer:A cohort study

Explanation: A cohort study is an observational longitudinal study in which a group of individuals with similar characteristics are sampled and followed through  cross sectionally  at  intervals over time and compared based on the factor of interests employed at each time.  Such defined group of people or cohorts are usually assembled at present and followed up at intervals to ensure comparisons are maintained throughout the course of the study. Cohort study is very relevant especially  in the field of medicine as it has helped to provide answers based on statistics by providing preclinical justification for the use of treatment having being analysed cross-sectionally and compared over a long period of time

Professor Sheckler  research on a specific group of college students, following the same individuals through their senior year and then five years afterward  should employ  the Cohort Study methodology.

Aloiza [94]

Based on the existing research, Dr. Carpenter should hypothesize that the participants involved would likely to act more poorly in both tasks during the phase b and phase a because the estrogen levels that are low and high could cause a person to act more poorly because low estrogen levels causes an individual to have a decreased in bone density where as high estrogen levels causes an individual to have health and wellness issues.

In an experiment, Lee Ross set up a simulated quiz game. He randomly assigned some Stanford University students to play the role
Shalnov [3]

Answer: the contestants and observers thought the questioners were more knowledgeable than the contestants.

Explanation: Ross et al published a paper in the journal of personality and social psychology in 1977 titled

"Social Roles, Social Control, and Biases in Social-Perception Processes". They demonstrated that our actions and perceptions are determined by roles we have to play in interpersonal encounters; this is the biasing effect social roles have on performance.

In this instance the observers and the contestants perceived the questioners as having superior knowledge as the questioners were given latitude in how they frame the questions. Due to their social roles, the questioners were "the powerful" while the contestants and observers were "the powerless" playing out their roles and not taking into account the biasing effect.

If the roles were switched around, the outcome would still be the same with each group irrespective of their actual ability and knowledge.

What is the effect of a change in price on quantity demanded?
stealth61 [152]

A decrease in demand and an increase in supply will cause a fall in equilibrium price, but the effect on equilibrium quantity cannot be determined. 1. For any quantity, consumers now place a lower value on the good, and producers are willing to accept a lower price; therefore, price will fall.
