Electron carrier molecules transfer electrons between metabolic pathways. Choose the electron carriers that transfer electrons f

rom glycolysis to the electron transport chain and from the citric acid cycle to the electron transport chain. One of the molecules will be placed more than once. More than one molecule may act as an electron carrier in these two pathways.

Answer:

from glycolysis to electron transport.-glycolytic pathway

NADH  and FADH2 are the major electron carrier   from glycolysis through the Kreb Cycle to the electron transport chain.

Note-NADH  alone transports electron  from glycolysis  to the Kreb Cycle. while both   NADH and FADH2  transport electrons   from the kreb'cycle  to the electron transport chain.

from citric ac id cycle to the electron transport chain.

as explained above both NADH and FADH2.

The electrons are  in the hydrogen atoms, carried by these co-enzymes. When they reached the matrix, the hydrogen atoms are split into protons and electrons(p and e-). it is these electrons that form gradients which are transported as chains in the matrix. The gradients of the electron generated PMF for pumping Hydrogen atoms into the intramembrane of mitochondrial

Note.

Nicotinamide Adenine Di nucleotide Hydrogen(NADH)

Flavin Adenine Dinucleotide Hydrogen(FADH)

Without digestive enzymes, you would likely die from starvation waiting for your food to break down into small molecules. Why do
Serjik [45]

Answer: Enzymes lower the activation energy found in food molecules

Explanation:

Food substances like yam, potatoes, egg etc are all made of chemical elements bounded to one another by chemical bonds such as hydrogen bonds, covalent bonds etc

During digestion, these bonds must be broken for carbohydrates to yield glucose, protein to yield amino acids.

Hence, added enzymes lowers the strength of this bonds i.e activation energy, by placing them into their active sites, which is equipped to cleave specific bonds

Thus, digestive reactions are quicker in the presence of enzymes than otherwise.

Sunny_sXe [5.5K]

Answer:

The correct answer is - observation.

Explanation:

Scientists like Si-Ling Chi, Aristotle, and Mary Anning developed  various scientific processes and made discoveries that shaped the history of the world. such discoveries are discoveries related to silkworms and how to make cloth from their cocoons by Si-Ling Chi, developing the scientific method by Aristotle and  Contribution to the field of paleontology greatly by Mary Anning.

All these scientists had a different type of skill and ability and one of the skills they had a strong power of observing the things or phenomenon work and many more other aspects of the scientific process.

Humans and hogs have differences in only 1 out of the 51 amino acids in their insulin proteins. Hogs and guinea pigs have differ
balu736 [363]

Humans are more closely related to hogs than hogs are to guinea pigs.

Explanation:

The difference in the amino acid sequence of a protein is used to know the  relation between organism i.e. how closely they are related.

It is known that proteins are the result of DNA sequence ie genes of the organism.

The gene or protein is compared between organisms to understand the evolutionary evidence and similarities between them.

The less is the difference the more is the two organisms closely related as in the case of hog and human which have only 1 amino acid difference in their insulin enzyme. While guinea pig is having  a difference of 17 amino acids so it is expected to be distantly related.

These relations helps the scientist to resolve the issues of crisis say insulin. They zero out the possibility of extracting the enzyme genes of possible organism and increase the yield.
