Label B - The outside layer of a plant cell is cell wall, in an animal cell it is the cell membrane. The label A is the Golgi Body(Complex). The inside label D is cytoplasm, and little dots labeled C are most probably lysosomes. Without seeing the picture it is hard to tell.

Ten grams of hamburger were added to 90 ml of sterile buffer.
Mariana [72]

Answer:

5.2 × 10 ⁹ cfus

Explanation:

Using the dilution factors

0.1 ml of the final dilution has 52 colonies

1 ml will have approximately 520 colonies

10 ml of the final sample will have 5200 colonies

at 1 / 100 dilution

1 ml of the sample will have 5200 colonies

100 ml of the sample will have 520000 colonies

1 ml of the 0.1 ml + 9.9 ml has 520000 colonies

10 ml will have 5200000

at the second stage of the dilution

0.1 ml of the slurry had 5200000 colonies

1 ml will have 52000000 colonies

10 ml will have 520000000 colonies

100 ml of the initial sample ( 10 grams + 90 ml ) = 5200000000 colonies =

5.2 × 10 ⁹ cfu

Why is the interdependence of the worms and plants an example of commensalism?
maks197457 [2]

Answer:

The interdependence of the worms and plants is an example of commensalism in a sense that as the worms burrow into the soil, it allows the soil to be loosened which then allows it to properly absorb water and carbon dioxide into its roots. This action benefits the plants' growth. However, such action of the worms, neither benefit the worms nor does it cause any harm.

Explanation:

"Commensalism" is a relationship between two things wherein one benefits while the other is neutral. This means the other one doesn't benefit nor is it harmed.
