1. All over South Africa there was no increase in school fees all through 2016.
2. The Federal government was forced to pumped more funds into the educational sector.
Two demerits that arise as a result of the campaign are:
1. A lot of properties were damaged during the protest, the damage properties were estimated at 22.25 million US dollar.
2. Disruption in school activities as Universities were forced to shut down for many weeks.
