Horace Walpole introduced Gothic fiction as a new genre of literature. He deployed the supernatural elements to fear the readers. It was not for the first though, as Shakespeare already uses these elements in his writings like in Hamlet and Macbeth.

Byron’s life used to be full of money and fame. He has the title, was a literary star, and also in politics. People want to know him and admire him, who also has an affair with the married woman and was a bisexual. He was continually screeching through the places and then died.

He wrote a novel about August Darvell, who traveled through the foreign lands and then died in away. This concept was then further used in The Vampyre; this was how Byron was viewed in political and social circles.

Dracula by Bram Stoker was also a model for future horror tales. Gothic fiction started getting popular because it is conveying the hidden and deep meaning like Frankenstein. It tells the reader the inner curiosity and desires of a character.
