The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although there are no options attached, we can say the following.

When assessing a group's development, the name of the term that is described as taking place when "the group’s structure emerged, leaders surfaced, and roles were firmed up is "forming."

This is the moment when the group is being created and all of the members show the disposition to know each other, are amicable, they are polite, and have an open mind to listen to the leaders that are surfacing in the process of formation. Every member of the group has a role and it is accepted to start functioning.

The other moments in the group's development are Storming, Norming, Performing, and finally, Adjourning.

Which statements describe guidelines for the use of graphics in presentations? Their use will make a bad presentation good. There
LuckyWell [14K]
I will discuss each of them in turn:

Their use will make a bad presentation good.
-no, this is false: just inserting graphics will not save a bad presentation.

There should be at least one graphic element on each slide.
-this is also false: the decision whether there should be a graphic depends on the content of the presentation!!!

They should be appropriate and relevant to the presentation's content.
-yes, this is true and probably the most important rule!

They should be large enough to be seen by your audience.
-this is correct! if they can't be seen then they're only confusing the audience!!!

They should only be used when they enhance the content of the presentation.  -this is also true!

Explain the connection between nativism, assimilation and cultural preservation.
skad [1K]

Answer:

Nativism, assimilation, and cultural preservation are terms that help explain the relationship between mainstream society and minority groups, as well as new immigrants coming into a society.

Explanation:

The connection between nativism, assimilation, and cultural preservation are like different sides of the same coin regarding culture and society.  Nativism is the idea that there is a core culture in a home country that needs to be shored up and protected vis-a-vis the arrival of outsiders or newcomers. It is the grounding of xenophobic ideas where there is a fear of outsiders and an active rejection of them on some level. Assimilation is when people who are newcomers adapt to the dominant culture and take up their values, practices and beliefs. Cultural preservation is used to protect cultural links to heritage and the past whether this be for majority populations or minorities like in the case of Native American groups and protection of their cultural heritage and lifeways vis-a-vis the mainstream.

In attribution theory, which of the following would be an example of a situational cause of employee performance?
antoniya [11.8K]

The correct answer is A. Good Luck

Explanation:

The attribution theory proposes people explains an outcome, behavior or event based on two main factors: situational attribution and dispositional attribution. In the case of situational attribution, also known as external attribution this focuses on explaining an event based on factors the individual cannot control or based on its situation, for example, the weather, luck or the actions of other people. On the other hand, the dispositional attribution focuses on the inner characteristics of a person such as an attitude or belief.

This implies, the option that is an example fo situational cause of employee performance is Good luck because this factor is external or part of the situation of an individual rather than an inner characteristic the employee can control.
