The theme of the passage is that a young child has to live with their parents fighting every day. He/she wants it to end but does not know how to make it end. He/she thinks that if they live with this every day of their life, this is how their life will turn out to be like. Nevertheless, the little girl or boy will keep fighting every day forward. In this case it would be 1g-50=50 but since you need profit you need to edit the function by simply putting a greater than sign replacing the equal sign 1g-50>50. Or you change the 50 on the right side of the first equation with p. 1g-50=p. And profit is the amount you get after taking 50 away from your total income. so p basically equals the term >50
