Answer:

hon you need to generalize your response to your life, so write about a role model in your life (like a parent or celebrity) and how they have influenced your life choices. for the part where it talks about mentoring someone else, write about if you have a younger sibling or other family member who you have helped through a rough time, or if they look up to you

Sample Response that I did for my Answer: A mentor for me is my mom, she's been through so much, sexual harassment, rape, Assaulted, heartbreak, death of a child, and loved ones, and she still strives through it all and is a very strong woman. She shows me that life is short and you can't spend it all being sad. She also shows me responsibility, and so much more, she teaches me new things every day. She influences my life choices by making me want to be a better person, to be a stronger, kinder, and caring person. She influences me to be strong. I have mentored my little siblings. I currently have 7 younger siblings and one on the way. I mentor them by being like my mom, a strong, caring, and kind person. I try to act very well because what I do reflects on them and they want to be just like their older siblings. I mentor them by teaching them how to clean up after themselves and responsibility. I know I make mistakes because I am human, and you learn from your mistakes so you teach them that you mentor that into them you make them know that you learn from your mistakes you become a better person from making mistakes but you have to do better, so mentoring them rinsing being perfect its making mistakes, learning from them and making sure they know that you learn al the time growing up, and one day they will be a mentor. They look up to me all the time, so I make the right choices and I mentor them into being a find young lady/Man.
Don't copy but write something like this but in your own words!!!

What clues does Walt Whitman provide in the opening stanza of the poem that suggest the captain did not die a natural death? Use
VARVARA [1.3K]

Answer and Explanation:

In his poem "O Captain! My Captain!", Whitman provides clues about the unnatural death of the captain when he mentions the blood dropping on the deck of the ship. People who die naturally - of natural causes - do not usually bleed. Bleeding is the result of being hurt, injured, be it in an accident or due to violence.

O the bleeding drops of red,

Where on the deck my Captain lies,

                                  Fallen cold and dead.

As we know, the fallen captain is none other than Abraham Lincoln, who had been shot and killed. The whole poem is a metaphor for his death as well as the victory of the Union in the Civil War. Whitman is lamenting Lincoln being gone, having been murdered before he could see and celebrate victory with the country.
