Answer: (x+0.5)^2+y^2=49

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

The diameter of circle terminates on the circumference with coordinates

(3,0) and (-4,0)

Distance between the two points is the diameter of the circle. The distance is given by distance formula i.e. d=\sqrt{\left(x_2-x_1\right)^2+\left(y_2-y_1\right)^2}

Insert the values

\Rightarrow d=\sqrt{\left(-4-3\right)^2+\left(0-0\right)^2}\\\\\Rightarrow d=\sqrt{(-7)^2+0}\\\Rightarrow d=7\\\text{So, the radius is r=}3.5\ \text{units}

The center of the circle is the mid-point of the two points i.e.

\Rightarrow x=\dfrac{3-4}{2}\\\\\Rightarrow x=-\dfrac{1}{2}\\\\\Rightarrow y=\dfrac{0+0}{2}\\\\\Rightarrow y=0\\\Rightarrow (x,y)\rightarrow (-\dfrac{1}{2},0)

The equation of the circle is given by

\Rightarrow (x-(0.5))^2+(y-0)^2=7^2\\\\\Rightarrow (x+0.5)^2+y^2=49

An airplane, flying at a constant speed of 360 mi/hr and climbing at a 30 degree angle, passes over a point P on the ground at a
Klio2033 [76]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

velocity of airplane is 360 mi/hr

inclination of climbing 30^{\circ}

Plane velocity can be divided in to x & y component

Velocity in x component is 360\cos30

Velocity in y component is 360\sin30

Thus distance traveled in x axis is =360\cos30\times \frac{1}{60}

=60cos30=51.96 miles

Distance travel in upward direction i.e. in Y axis

=360\sin30\times \frac{1}{60}=30 miles

so total altitude gain by plane is 30+4=34 miles

Horizontal distance traveled is 51.96

inclination w.r.t to point p

tan\theta =\frac{34}{51.96}=0.654

\theta =33.18^{\circ}

Initial inclination is 90^{\circ}

therefore rate at which its distance is changing is 360\cos30=311.76 miles /hour

Constructing a frequency distribution beginning with a lower class limit of 15.0 and use a class width of 6.0.

we have:

Body Mass Index____ Frequency

15.0 - 20.9__________3( values of 17.7, 18.3, & 19.2 are within this range)

21.0 to 26.9__________8 values are within this range)

27.0 - 32.9____________ 5 values

33.0 - 38.9____________ 2 values

39.0 - 44.9 _____________2 values

The frequency distribution is not a normal distribution. Here, although the frequencies start from the lowest,  increases afterwards and then a decrease is recorded again, it is not normally distributed because it is not symmetric.

Bumek [7]

Answer:

(a) and (e) are not valid.

Step-by-step explanation:

a) The number of traials is not fixed. In fact, the random variable counts the total number of trials.

b) This is true, the result of each trial is independent of the others.

c) This is also true. The outcomes are failure and success.

d) This is true as well, all trials are identically distributed.

e) Since (a) is not valid, this cant be true.
