In 1975 the world watched the Cold War between the US and the USSR, which disputed the hegemony of the world economic system. The US fought for capitalism, while the USSR stood for the implementation of Communism.

The USSR was a bloc formed by a set of Eastern European republics, to which Communism had the greatest influence at that time. In addition, Communism was also present in some countries in Asia, such as China, North Korea and Vietnam, and in Cuba, in North America.
