We know the rate of the change, 3 meters per hour. And we want to know how long it will take to reach 12 meters. Say we need to reach 6 meters instead 12.

How long will that take? 2 hours! Because we divide 6 m by 3 m/h.
Now let us do the same thing will 12 meters.

12 m / 3 m/h = 4 hours

It will take 4 hours to reach the 12 meters height.

The answer is four hours, because if you take the 12 meters you need and devide it by the three meters you get per hour you get four. Therefore the answer is four hours.

71-5= 66

71-66=5

The temperature needs to rise 5 degrees for the temperature to return to 71 degrees.

Suppose a research paper states that the distribution of the daily sea-ice advance/retreat from each sensor is similar and is ap
Luda [366]

Answer:

The value of the parameter is λ is 0.03553357

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the provided function.

f(x) = 0.5\lambda e^{-\lambda |x|} for −∞ < x < ∞.

It is given that standard deviation is given as 39.8 km.

Now we need to calculate the value of parameter λ.

The general formula for the probability density function of the double exponential distribution is: f(x)=\frac{e^{-|\frac{x-\mu}{\beta}|}}{2\beta}

Where μ is the location parameter and β is the scale parameter.

Compare the provided equation with the above formula we get.

\lambda=\frac{1}{\beta} and μ = 0.

Standard deviation = √2β

S.D=\sqrt{2} \beta\\\beta=\frac{39.8}{\sqrt{2}}\\\beta=28.1424

Now substitute the value of β in \lambda=\frac{1}{\beta}.

\lambda=\frac{1}{28.1424}=0.03553357

Hence, the value of the parameter is λ is 0.03553357

The formula for the volume of a sphere is mc012-1.jpg. What is the formula solved for r? mc012-2.jpg mc012-3.jpg mc012-4.jpg mc0
NikAS [45]
Cannot see your image, but the formula for the volume of a sphere is
V=(4/3)πr³
to solve for r: r³=v÷(4/3)π=v*3/(4π)=3v/(4π) (three v out of 4 pi)
r=∛(3v/4π)
r equals the cubic root of (three v over 4π)
